In this role, you’ll assume responsibility for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles, with a strong emphasis on a customer-centric approach and a focus on personal and vehicle safety. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance and execute repairs as assigned.
- Pinpoint and resolve technical and mechanical vehicle issues by diagnosing the root causes.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to determine the need for additional safety or service work.
- Validate and confirm customer complaints by conducting road tests after successful vehicle repairs.
Requirements for an Ideal Technician at Davis Chevrolet Brooks:
- Possession of a valid Automotive Service Technician Certification of Qualification.
- A Red Seal Certification would be highly preferred.
- Technicians at Level 4 and above are encouraged to apply.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an automotive repair environment is preferred.
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
- A reliable aptitude for technical and mechanical repairs.
- Effective diagnostic skills, strong time management abilities.
- A customer-centered approach and a team player mentality.
- Strong communication skills.
