In this role, you’ll assume responsibility for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles, with a strong emphasis on a customer-centric approach and a focus on personal and vehicle safety. Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance and execute repairs as assigned.
  • Pinpoint and resolve technical and mechanical vehicle issues by diagnosing the root causes.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to determine the need for additional safety or service work.
  • Validate and confirm customer complaints by conducting road tests after successful vehicle repairs.

Requirements for an Ideal Technician at Davis Chevrolet Brooks:

  • Possession of a valid Automotive Service Technician Certification of Qualification.
  • A Red Seal Certification would be highly preferred.
  • Technicians at Level 4 and above are encouraged to apply.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an automotive repair environment is preferred.
  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
  • A reliable aptitude for technical and mechanical repairs.
  • Effective diagnostic skills, strong time management abilities.
  • A customer-centered approach and a team player mentality.
  • Strong communication skills.
