This pivotal role involves overseeing the creation, testing, and implementation of both new and updated software applications. As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll combine your managerial prowess with hands-on development work to ensure projects are executed in line with company specifications and deadlines.
Job Details
- Location: Langley, BC, with remote work options
- Salary: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour for 40 hours weekly

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development managers to discuss software projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies for software system upgrades.
- Design new software programs, websites, and applications.
- Delegate tasks to junior developers, including coding, testing, debugging, and analytics.
- Write advanced programming code.
- Review and manage updated software systems.
- Oversee project timelines and tasks.
- Generate development reports.
- Create technical documentation for new software programs.
- Provide training to staff on software utilization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
- Previous experience as a software programmer.
- Managerial experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, C++, Java, SQL, and PHP.
- Familiarity with system frameworks, including .NET, Git, Angular JS, and GitHub.
- Experience in database creation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
