- Location: Windsor, ON (Remote work available)
- Salary: $100,000 to $300,000 annually for 35 to 50 hours per week
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time

Overview: Our primary care clinic is seeking Family Medicine Physicians to join our team. We prioritize high-quality patient care over patient volume, allowing for regular patient interaction and comprehensive care. Applicants should hold a valid medical license and board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, family medicine, or obstetrics and gynecology, along with a valid DEA registration number. Experience in family practice is a plus.
Family Medicine Physician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services
- Conduct patient examinations
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments
- Maintain patient charts and EMRs
Languages: English or French
Education:
- Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry Experience: Experience is an asset
Work Setting:
- Chronic or long-term care facilities/centers
- Occupational health centers
- Ambulatory care centers
- Private industry
- Rural community health centers
- Provincial addictions programs
- Mental health institutions, facilities, or clinics
- Private practice
- Public health facilities
- Public or community health centers
Responsibilities:
- Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and order diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with other medical practitioners to assess patients’ physical and mental health
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Provide vaccinations and preventive care
- Offer health advice and disease prevention guidance to patients
- Advocate for patients
- Coordinate primary patient care
- Offer acute care management
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on various health and lifestyle issues
- Deliver emergency care
- Supervise home care services
Supervision:
- Oversee staff in various areas of responsibility (1 to 2 people)
- Work with working groups
Credentials:
- Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
- Experience and specialization in various medical fields
